Welcome to the photograph gallery! You can explore and search for images of artifacts from the North Carolina Archaeological Collection using the tab to the left. This is a portal to the state’s largest archaeological archive with more than 8 million artifacts in the RLA collections. Information includes catalog number, RLA site number, site name, state site number, country, state, county, artifact category, and artifact material plus many more details under the Full Record Information. Many records have a digital image associated with them.

You can also search the more than 70,000 photographs & documents in the RLA collections. This portal (accessed through the tab to the left and maintained by the Carolina Digital Repository) includes black-and-white photographs, color slides, digital images, publications, and more!
