Pomeyooc

You will often see this town also spelled Pomeiooc. This was another town that was part of the Secotan tribe. The name of the town essentially means an area that provides a good landing place for boats. While a number of archaeological surveys have been done in this area, none have found definitive evidence for the location of this town.
