Badin-Mt. Gilead is a driving trail that focuses on some of the most important sites within the center of the state. Our suggested path follows State Highway 73 and can be started on either end, depending on your preference. The trail covers three sites: Hardaway, Lowder’s Ferry, and Town Creek Indian Mound. We have included some places of interest near each site that you may also want to make time to see, including the beautiful Morrow Mountain State Park and Badin Museum .
