Galleries Overview

Welcome to the Ancient NC Galleries. Here we have provided access to some of our collections, allowing you to browse through them at your leisure via two galleries. The first gallery is 3D Objects and represents the ongoing efforts to the RLA to document objects in our collection via photogrammetry, which allows us to create incredibly accurate 3D renderings of objects. You can view and manipulate the archaeological objects on the screen, and/or see our full collection on Sketchfab. The second gallery is Videos; over the years RLA archaeologists, UNC professors, and others have highlighted many important sites in the state and provided information about the lifeways of the people who lived at those sites. The video gallery provides you with viewing access to all of the videos that we have permission to share.
